To introduce our theme, ‘Can we explore it?’ The children watched a video about where and what they would like to explore. The children were offered a range of objects and spaces to explore and look at maps. They used their senses to investigate materials. They were encouraged to talk about their experiences and observations using the new vocabulary taught. They spent a lot of time at the new water wall and in the secret garden.
