Weekly Highlight – Handa’s Surprise 🍍🍌

This week, we have been exploring the story Handa’s Surprise. A huge thank you to all our parents for donating a wonderful variety of fruits – we are ever so grateful for your support!

The children enjoyed using their senses to explore the different fruits. They had the opportunity to touch, smell and taste the fruits, noticing their different textures, smells and flavours. One child commented, “The pineapple feels spiky!” 🍍

Through this hands-on experience, the children developed their descriptive language, explored new vocabulary and used their senses to investigate the world around them. What a fruitful week of learning! 🍊🍌
