Year 2 update for the week back !

Welcome back for Autumn 2 term !!

We hope you all had a great week off and had some rest..

Year 2 this week have been doing some great learning. On Monday they had WOW Day , the children came in dressed as real life super heroes, We had Nurses , Teachers, Firefighters and many more. They were very creative with the outfits. They have made some Origami boats and drew pictures of their real life super heroes.

In History they are learning about the Windrush Generation and how they came over and how they came and helped England with their skills. The children are finding it very interesting.

RE this week has been based around the Festival of Lights Diwali. They have been reading the story of Rama and Sita. They will be making some art with paper for Diwali. They have started reading their new book ‘Magic Pencil’.
