Year 1 update for the first week

Welcome back for the first week of this half term , Autumn 2 …..

We hope you all have all had a restful break and had fun!!!

On their first day was WOW day and they were all super heroes⭐⭐⭐ celebrating real life super heroes like our Doctors , Police Officers, Teachers etc….

Year 1 have done so well in Maths learning how to count backwards and forwards on the number line …….

They have started reading their new story for this term which is Supertato, they will be starting their class shared Book Review in the next couple of days.

Throughout the school we have all been learning about the Festival of Light Diwali,  By making Diva lamps and drawings.

Guided Reading is going great also, we can see the progress from the children , as they have been going up in reading levels….
